Meet Our Teachers
Graduated Northern Michigan University class of 1978. Jennifer did her post graduate work in Childhood Development at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Married to Tony Scoma, mother of 11 adult children, Jennifer has been teaching preschool since 1980. Moving to Utah in 2006, Jennifer started her first daycare in 2008. Today, Jennifer and Tony own 2 locations in Springville, Utah serving families in Payson, Spanish Fork, Mapleton and Springville.
Katie first began working as a CNA and then went on to work as a CMA with special needs children. After having a child of her own she began working at Learn and Grow Daycare and Preschool in 2013 where she is now managing child care provider. She enjoys children and loves to watch them discover new things. Katie also loves animals and works part time at a local animal hospital.
Over ten years ago Hannah helped open the original Learn and Grow. Before then she was the assistant youth director at a YMCA in California and also worked at Lifeskills Vocational Center for adults. During her undergraduate she was a personal nanny for six years. Through UVU she earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work and completed an internship for the CJC.
